I began making mixes when I was 14 on cassette tape. Usually, the mixes were for girls who I liked and wanted to impress. Not much has changed there. Now, the mixes that I make are for the community of people who appreciate experimental electronic music. As long as someone says that they like what I do, then I’ll be sure to keep it coming.
‘Marsman Remix’ offers a great sample of what talent there exists inside the Dutch electronic music scene, but also accurately reflects the quality of the music coming out on the forward thinking Lomechanik label, as a lot of the artists which are featured on this album also played a part on earlier releases on Lomechanik.
